Mark W.  Verified 1/25/2026 Growing up with Bridgette, I knew the people mentioned in this book. I hung out at their house and skated/rode bikes on those hills. Bridgette was always adventurous. In the 80s/90s we ran around the San Fernando "Valley" making random video shorts. Hung out & watched her work on the set of Full House. But, I never knew just how she personally struggled. I wish I knew. Creator has a way of keeping the best for last! Hey Bridgie, I'm so proud of you! You NEVER GAVE UP! ..... MW

Jan P.  Verified 1/1/2025 I read the book almost as soon as I got it. It was an amazing story that resonated with me. I saw Bridgette on the Take Aways show I watch. (I watched it twice and then had my husband watch it). I liked that it was easy to read. There were a couple of the photos that didn't seem to come out right and you couldn't see the people (the photos opposite her HS photo). I realized that the photo pgs are not numbered. I liked the mention of Umbrella ministries, I may connect with them for additional help. I'm SO grateful B. has been sharing her story. I think MANY of us feel overlooked- by God. Jan

I believe God has allowed Bridgette to write a book that will encourage and uplift the spirit of those who are going through challenges in life. We should all be grateful for those of us who have put our trust in God, to know that our Heavenly Father is with us on the journey and to be reminded we only have today and to continue to put our trust in Him no matter what comes our way.

Lisa T. Verified 2/8/2024 Uplifting book to encourage you! This lil book is a quick and engaging read. I read it in January and it got me in a thankful mindset to start off the new year! As a kid of the 80’s it had amusing insights into some tv stars of that era. Most importantly, Bridgette shares her heartaches, struggles and trials in life that brought her closer to God, and we can have that too if only we are willing to allow him In our hearts and accept the peace the only He can give.

Learning how important her family is to her and how God is the center of her life. Even with all her disappointments she kept a positive attitude and kept going after what she wanted. Here is my review: This book is way better than I was expecting. I had low expectations because she is a first-time author. Welp, you won't need a bookmark because you can't put this page-turner down. The absolute best story was about her difficult pregnancy with her daughter. Her description of what it feels like to be lost and abandoned and confused was so moving that I was audibly sobbing, and I had to take a short break to process my complex emotions. What great storytelling. I give Overlooked five out of five inspirational quotes, and an altar call! You will not be disappointed.
